The Daily Grind ...

There’s a great book written by brilliant entrepreneur and TV Shark Damon John. It’s called Rise and Grind. Today is Friday and I’m definitely grinding. Meaning there are some days when you feel like crap, you’re tired, cranky - whatever. But you just keep pushing forward. You keep forcing yourself to do the things that you know you have to do. Like for me it was writing this blog posts. This week I made a promise to myself that I would start building the SMG website which is sooooo long overdue. And that I would write a blog post for 10 minutes every work day. Yesterday was blog #1. Today I didn’t want to write blog #2 but here we are. I’m grinding. And I’m also forcing myself to send off some tax forms to the IRS, set up a wireless printer I’ve been procrastinating about, write some product descriptions I promised, review a legal agreement I don’t want to read … you get the idea. Some days it’s not about feeling great. Some days are just about putting one foot in front of the other and pushing on. Grinding. Happy grinding!
